I never grow tired of taking pictures like the one shown below. I am so entertained by the hackneyed technique of perspective distortion in photography that I find myself giggling gaily every time I come across a true gem of photographic slapstick genius. Like the so many giant hands squishing the tiny people pictures taken before mine, there is always an immediate reaction of "what the..." before one realizes he's been duped by the oldest photography trick in the book (ahhhah, you guys almost had me). And, unlike the characteristic soft-edged vignette found in Holga-generated imagery that says nothing more than that the photographer wanted to find a reason to take pictures of old bridges but needed a way to make them more interesting, imagery that depicts perspective distortion always has a punchline.
